Balochistan is Pakistan’s largest province by area, known for its rugged terrain and sparse population. Transportation is limited in many areas, but Quetta serves as the primary transport hub with connections to other cities by road and rail.


2. Local Transportation

  • Rickshaws & Taxis: Available in Quetta and a few other towns like Gwadar and Turbat. Fares range from PKR 100–300 for short city rides.

  • Ride-Hailing Apps: Not widely available. Some local services may operate informally in Quetta.

  • City Buses: Limited to Quetta; small vans and minibuses operate on fixed routes.

  • Car Rentals: Available in Quetta through local agents or hotels; approx. PKR 3,000–6,000/day (excluding fuel).


3. Intercity Transportation

  • Buses & Coaches:

    • Operators: Al-Makkah Coaches, Skyways, and various local services

    • Popular Routes & Fares:

      • Quetta → Karachi: PKR 2,500–3,500

      • Quetta → Islamabad: PKR 4,000–5,000

      • Quetta → Gwadar: PKR 3,500–4,500

  • Trains:
